RoQuest 3000 contains a blend of organic polymers for use in membrane systems pretreatment applications. This product was designed to be used in direct filtration applications to further polish municipally treated feed and raw waters that have relatively low concentrations of particulates and organic colours. Upper raw water limits of turbidity and colour for this product are 2.0 NTU and 10 units, respectively.


RoQuest 4000 and RoQuest 5000 These formulations contain a blend of organic coagulants and ferric sulphate. They are designed to be used in direct filtration applications for raw waters that contain up to 10 NTU turbidity and colour units of greater than 10 or for feeds that have been mistreated chemically (e.g. the under or overfeeding of organic polymers).


RoQuest 4000 differs from 5000 in that it has a higher polymer to ferric sulphate ratio. Conduct plant trials or pilot studies to determine which of these two products works best for a specific feedwater. RoQuest 6000 contains an effective blend of organic coagulants and ferric sulphate. This product was designed for use as a coagulant and flocculation aid in flocculator-clarifiers. RoQuest 6000 is ideally suited for removing colloids, silt, and many of the organic molecules that foul membranes.
